Overview. More than $41 million have been awarded to organizations serving over 118 million people in every state in the U.S. American Honda Foundation (AHF) was established by American Honda Motor Co., Inc., to commemorate its 25th anniversary in the United States and to show its appreciation of America's support through the years.
Green Team Grant
Grants of up to $1,000 for projects carried out by public school green teams. Examples of projects that we support include building or expanding a school garden, enhancing a school recycling program, creating school sustainability events, and purchasing eco-friendly giveaway items.

Compost Grant
Apply for a grant to start or expand a community compost project and direct waste away from our landfills! This grant is in partnership with the Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board of the Manhattan Borough President's Office.
Applications for the Composting Grant are open. Make sure to submit by 11:59pm on Sept. 16th!
