Borough Coordinator/Community Coordinator - 4 Full-Time Positions
Borough Coordinators will be responsible for providing borough-wide oversight for the “Stop the Violence” Basketball League at a cluster of select NYCHA developments. *Pay rate: $32/hour
Site Supervisor/Community Associate - 24 Part-Time Positions
Site Supervisors will be responsible for providing site-level oversight during games for the “Stop the Violence” Basketball League at an assigned NYCHA development, including supervision of Youth Assistants. *Pay rate: $28/hour
Youth Assistant/Community Service Aide - 48 Part-Time Positions
Youth Assistants will be responsible for providing hands-on site support during games for the “Stop the Violence” Basketball League at an assigned NYCHA development. *Pay rate: $20/hour

Graduates will receive internationally recognized certification from the ISSA Cleaning Management Institute and become certified custodian technicians at basic and advanced levels. College Financial Aide Workshop
Attention NYCHA and Section 8 residents ages 16 and over: Have you been thinking about going to college for an associate or bachelor's degree but are intimidated by the costs? Join the NYCHA REES office in collaboration with Guttman Community College for a college financial aid workshop where you will learn about undergraduate public and private college costs, the types of financial aid available, and the scholarships opportunities for NYCHA residents. The virtual event will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, September 22nd, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. Registration is required.
The High Line Wants to Hear from You!
The High Line wants to hear about the issues that are most important to you. NYCHA residents of Chelsea-Elliott and Fulton Houses are invited to take a five-minute survey here to provide feedback. The answers will help the High Line create a better park experience and be a better neighbor to West Side residents. The survey will be open until September 24.

Up to $3,600 per Qualifying Child Under the IRS Advance Child Tax Credit
Families can get half of the fully refundable credit — worth up to $3,600 per qualifying child — as monthly payments in 2021 and the other half as a refund in 2022. To qualify, you must have filed a tax return in the past two years to receive payments or submitted information to the IRS in 2020 using the Non-Filers tool.
